 Marcasite, Onyx, and Mother of Pearl cameo woman set Nickel-free 925 sterling silver. This classic set includes the pendant and earrings. An affordable version of our hand-carved natural Baltic Amber cameos, also available in this store, this makes for a lovely set.
Marcasite is a form of iron pyrite rock that was used as early as the time of the Ancient Greeks for adornments. Our Marcasite comes primarily from Switzerland and finished in Thailand. Marcasite stones are individually hand set, so please reference our blog article for proper care. When our Marcasite jewellery is crafted, each piece is oxidized to prevent future tarnish of the silver. This process gives all each of our Swiss & Thai pieces the vintage or antique look.
